GroMitra ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable law. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
Identity & KYC (name, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar, photograph), contact (mobile, email, address), financial (income, employment, loan requirements, existing obligations), and documents you upload. We collect this only with your consent, to provide the loan-facilitation and CA/tax services you request.
2. How we use your data (purpose limitation)
To verify your identity, match you with lenders/Chartered Accountants, process your application, keep you updated, and meet legal/regulatory obligations. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond what you consented to.
3. Sharing
We share the minimum necessary data with the relevant bank/NBFC or Chartered Accountant to fulfil your request, and with service providers (e.g. SMS/email) under confidentiality obligations. We never sell your data.
4. Security & retention
Sensitive identifiers (Aadhaar/PAN) are encrypted at rest. We retain records only as long as required to serve you and to comply with law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, or request erasure of your data, and withdraw consent, from your account settings or by contacting our Grievance Officer (see the Grievance Redressal page). Erasure requests are honoured subject to legal retention requirements.
